I’m so glad you found your way to the About page. It means you’re wondering who’s behind the 'we' in BDMW Consulting. Well, that would be me! I handle all the behind-the-scenes tech that keeps things running smoothly and make sure the front end looks and feels like you. While BDMW Consulting is a solo venture with me as the head chef and chief bottle washer, I have amassed a fabulous network of very talented individuals. This means, if I can’t do it, I know someone who can.

I’ve spent nearly 30 years in business and the tech industry, including 15 years running our software company with my husband (yep, I’m somewhere between DOS and dial-up years old). For the past 6 years, I’ve been deep in the online space helping women grow their Kelowna based businesses without losing their minds (or their weekends). Mostly those in the health and wellness sector, but not exclusively. And not just with advice or a checklist, but by actually getting in there and managing the tech and strategy that keep things moving forward.

When we work together, you’ll get high-quality output, quick turnaround, and honest communication. I combine logic and creativity like it’s a superpower, making things feel simple, even when they’re not. I also love an energetic brainstorming session with good coffee, colourful pens and post-it notes.

There’s no pressure to pretend you’ve got it all figured out. Most of us don’t. I’m in it with you. I’ll meet you where you're at (really), and we’ll figure things out from there. I don’t do the whole perfectly polished, professional-only version of myself and I don’t expect you too either. It’s exhausting and who’s got time for that.

I do this because I care deeply about supporting women in business. Especially the ones doing it alone and figuring things out as they go, because I’ve been there. I'm happiest when working on a project supporting someone doing something they love. Maybe because I know how powerful it is when someone shows up and says, “You don’t have to do this all by yourself.”
